  2. Recovery is a big part of increasing your physical fitness, listening to your body is something to not take for granted. If it tells you to rest you should probably rest, however, the flip side of this is you do want to shock your body every once in awhile, while your sore in the morning before the workout once you get warmed up, stretch and start the workout you will feel great and your body will start to realize that this activity should not be producing the soreness and start to recognize this as normalcy. We missed you and hope you had a good Saturday. See you on Monday

  3. Dear Wooden Box:
Thanks to your workout Saturday I......:
    1. For the first time went to a baptism with a bag of ice on my back.
    2. For the first time got to experience a sticky heat pad for 7 hours (they really are cool..looks like they have a new customer)
    3. For the first time was unwilling and incapable to serve food for a family dinner
    4. For the first time was actually glad it was fast Sunday because there was no way I was able to cook breakfast and lunch and clean it up.

And to my delight, I have no cold swimming pools around for Jason to tell me to get into to reduce the soreness in my back! (Thank goodness I am now in Flagstaff because I will NOT be working out tomorrow due to the fact I can barely bend over. My back is SOO sore). Next time we do this workout, I am opting for the PVC pipe! Maybe then I can beat Melissa :).

  4. Take the day to relax and STRETCH. It will be sore to stretch but you gotta do it, also allow your back to rest, do not walk around all day putting yourself in positions that will make it sore. I would not worry about any injury as you felt good after the workout and it was not until you were allowed to rest your back as in the drive to Flag where it started to get tight. You did great in the workout and your form was also good, your back is a spot that needs to be stronger, as you said when you first started you need and wanted to work on strength, here it is. Have fun in Flag. Go lay flat on your back in the snow.
